Al-Hamd Agro Food Products Pvt. Ltd. has set up a most modern, integrated abattoir-cum
meat processing plant at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in 2005. The plant is approved by Agricultural
and Processing Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce,
Government of India, for export of meat and meat products.

Al-Hamd Agro Food Products Pvt. Ltd. has set up a most modern, integrated abattoir-cum meat processing plant at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in 2005. The plant is approved by Agricultural and Processing Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, for export of meat and meat products.

The plant is also approved by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India(FSSAI), a Food Regulatory Body, under the Ministry of Health, Government of India, to produce safe and quality meat as per Schedule IV of FSSAI. The Plant has been set up with latest state-of-art technology. HACCP and ISO 22000 are implemented to ensure highest degree of hygiene, sanitation and phyto-sanitary requirement as per the International Animal Health Organisation (O.I.E.) based in Paris and Codex
Alimantarius  Food Safety parameters are maintained as far international guidelines. The Plant has in-house R&D Laboratory to monitor quality. The plant has ETP and rendering plant to maintain eco-friendly environment. The animals are procured from disease free area and individual identification and traceability are
maintained. The animals are rested for 24 hours. Ante-mortem examination is carried out and only fit animals are slaughtered as per Islamic Shariyat. The slaughtered animals are subjected to post mortem examination. The fit animals carcasses are kept in chillers for 24 hours at 2-4 o  C to obtain pH below 6. Thereafter, carcasses are deboned and deglanded and meat is frozen at -40 o  C in plate/blast freezer to attain deep bone temperature of -18 o  C. The meat is exported to many countries globally including South East Asia namely, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Gulf Countries namely Oman, UAE, Bahrain etc., Arabian countries like,
Iraq, Jordan, African Countries like Egypt, Algeria etc. The plant has received APEDA Gold Shield Award being the largest exporter of quality bovine meat for the year 2014-15 and 2015-16 from Apeda, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. The fastest growth achieved by the company is due to the dynamic leadership of Haji Mohd. Zaheer, Managing Director of the Company.
